Cuidado del contorno de ojos

Eye contour care

Because the skin around the eyes is thinner and we use them for expression, wrinkles and fine lines develop much faster than on the rest of our skin. Additionally, there are no oil glands under the eyes, so the skin is always slightly drier than the rest of the face.

Eye contour care is richer

Because the skin around the eyes is often a bit drier, it requires more oily skincare than the rest of the face. This is even the case for people with combination to oily skin.

Eye contour care reduces fine lines

Eye care contains natural "fillers" that plump and smooth the skin around your eyes slightly, so to speak. This reduces the appearance of fine lines. The effect is similar to applying foundation, which temporarily smooths and evens out the skin, making it a perfect canvas for the rest of your makeup. In addition, eye care also contains light-reflecting particles that reflect light, giving your eyes a fresher look and making dark circles less noticeable.

Eye contour care has been developed for sensitive skin.

Because the skin around the eyes is thinner and therefore more delicate, it is also more sensitive to higher concentrations of active ingredients. Therefore, eye contour care contains lower concentrations of active ingredients to minimize the risk of a skin reaction. Eye contour care contains specific active ingredients to combat dark circles, fine lines, and puffy eyes.

When to start

Because skin cell division begins to slow down after the age of 25 and the first signs of skin aging become visible, often in the form of fine lines around the eyes, we recommend starting to use eye contour care from this age.

Tips for applying your eye contour care

  1. Take a drop of eye cream/serum/gel, about the size of a grain of rice.
  2. Divide this between two ring fingers.
  3. Only use your ring finger when applying eye care, as this is the finger with the "softest touch" and will therefore exert the least pressure on the skin.
  4. Apply the eye cream to the edge of the eye socket, above and below (the so-called "hard" part). Then gently work in with tapping movements.
  5. Avoid the skin just under your eyes, near your eyelashes; this is extra thin, and creams/serums/gels can cause irritation there.
  6. Always apply the product from the inside out.
